Magazine Updates & Corrections

Despite our best efforts, occasionally we discover a correction is needed after our magazine goes to print. Additionally, some stores must update their contact or store hours after the Shop Hop begins. Check this list of updates and corrections and also refer to the stores page for up-to-date information.

2025 Magazine Updates

Passport: The Hop runs from April 1 through May 31, 2025. Passports must be postmarked by June 3, 2025

Anderson Fabrics & Quilt Shop will be closing April 30th. You can visit Anderson Fabrics & Quilt Shop before April 30 to get their giveaway. After April 30, you can visit Sadie Rae’s Quilt Shop to get any remaining giveaways while supplies last. Their square on the passport will be a free space.

Page 18:  Stitch Another Round Pattern:  This pattern calls for 7/8 of a yard of the border fabric.  If you are using the All Minnesota fabric line, you may only need a 1/3 yard cut because our stripe runs WOF.  If you are using a “traditional” stripe that runs LOF, you will need the 7/8 of a yard.

Page 24 -Northern Delights Pattern: Under the materials list, (G) Should be Dots Night instead of Dots Glaze. It is used in 2 of the stars in the quilt, so if you would like it to look exactly like the quilt, use the Dots Night Fabric, not the Dots Glaze.

Page 52 – Northern Stars Pattern: Under cutting instructions “From Dots Lavender Fabric,” you will need to Subcut [20] – 4″ squares.

2024 Magazine Updates

Page 24: Under Perfect Rectangles, the directions in parenthesis under step 1 should read “Follow directions in Step 3 in V Block”

Page 58: Traveling Fun Quilt Pattern: In the cutting instructions the panels should be cut to 14-1/2″ W and 13-1/2″H (the cutting instructions have the H & W flipped).

2023 Magazine Updates

CONFETTI CORNERS GOES TO THE FAIR PATTERN

NOTE:  The measurements of the panel featured in the projects of the quilt changed slightly from when AMNSH received our fabric used to make the samples to what was printed by the manufacturer and sent to the stores.  The panels you purchase from the stores are larger than the ones used in our magazine projects.  So you will need to “fussy cut” your panel to the measurements used in the patterns.  The panels that you cut may vary slightly from the photos of the panels used in the projects in the magazine.

page 60:  Purchase 1/2 yards of the Blender Teal  (this will give you enough fabric to cut 80 2-1/2″ squares from page 64)

Page 62:  Top of 2nd column:  Cut [4] 3″ WOF of the Blue Ribbon Fabric for borders

Page 57:  Spring A – Peel Wool Table Runner, was designed by Bonnie Lundorff (magazine spelling is incorrect) from Willow Wood Market (not Willow Wood Designs.)

2022 Magazine Updates

Page 32: Under background fabric: It should read:  Cut [3] 3″ x WOF strips then subcut [36] 3″ x 3″ squares D

Page 88:  PATTERN CORRECTION.  Step number 6 in the first column should actually be 1.
Under the “FRAMING THE BLOCKS” section in the third paragraph, it refers to a graphic on page 80.  The graphic is actually on page 89.
The diagram for step #6 is incorrect.  Please use the diagram below for reference.  You can also download a copy of the corrected pattern here on our website.
